When you take a seat in my dental chair, you are my VIP for that appointment. My sole purpose will be to understand your needs and provide the highest quality of care I can give you. Simply put, I want to take care of you. I earned my undergraduate degree in business from BYU and my dental degree from Midwestern College of Dental Medicine in Arizona. I then spent four years as a dentist in the U.S. Navy at Parris Island, providing care for Marines at the recruit training center in Beaufort, SC. I’m happily married with four children, and my favorite hobby is spending time with my family. I also enjoy swimming, boating, skateboarding, biking, and exploring with my wife and kids.

Dr. Dane Capener grew up in Littleton, Colorado, and earned his Bachelors degree in Biology from Utah Valley University before receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Roseman College of Dental Medicine. He believes exceptional dentistry begins with building meaningful relationships and genuinely caring for each patient. Dr. Capener is committed to helping patients feel comfortable, understood, and confident in their care while working together to achieve healthy, lasting smiles. Before dental school, Dr. Capener spent two years living in Mexico, where he learned Spanish and developed a deep appreciation for the culture and community. He and his wife, Irelynd, are grateful to be raising their two young sons in Western North Carolina.
Outside the office, Dr. Capener enjoys running, camping, and spending time outdoors with his family, especially searching for reptiles together.
